Go figure

Last year I planted about 500 White Sage seeds. Only a few germinated, and of those, just one made it. It's thriving, about 2 1/2 feet tall now, one survivor out of 500.

This year, while looking through the old seeds, I found about 50 White Sage seeds remaining from last year. On a whim, I tried to germinate them, putting them in a greenhouse window.

Right now, I've got ten sprouting seedlings... Why they are doing much better this year than last, I've not a clue.
