Tropical Rain
It's been raining a lot recently here in Sri Lanka, a heavy, warm, tropical rain that encourages plant growth as well as mosquitoes. It's amazing how fast things grow. Trees I saw planted five years ago now tower over buildings. The flowers around my doorstep have overgrown the steps. This is far different from my home where, I was informed, it snowed yesterday morning.
