Sometime in the next few months Sue and I will be moving to Connecticut, far from the unending traffic jams and stratospheric housing prices of Los Angeles. We'll be moving to the Hartford area, where I grew up.
Maple trees, winter snows, we won't be able to garden year round ("wahoo", says Sue), but as we'll be out in the country a bit, there will be lots of forests, hikes, maybe the occasional bear in the backyard like my sister, who lives in the area, sometimes gets.
The cats probably won't be able to go outside - coyotes are there now too.
