An upstate New York couple nursed a damaged Monarch back to health, after repairing his wing. But by then it was fall and too cold to migrate. So they got him a ride down south -- with a long-distance trucker.
"If you ever want to feel strange," said Jeannette Brandt, "walk into [a truck stop] and just put it out there that you want them to take a box south."
